Dennis Letts

Dennis Letts became interested in LENR within a few months of its announcement in 1989. He obtained copies of relevant papers and publications available in 1992 and began experiments at his home laboratory in that year. His first publication was in 1993 with Dr. John Bockris on triggering mechanisms for LENR. Subsequently, he worked for many years with Dennis Cravens on methods for achieving LENR and on application of statistical techniques to show that the phenomenon exists (based on reported experimental successes) at a high level of probability. He and Cravens then developed an LENR triggering method using single and dual laser beams. This work was done in collaboration with Dr. Peter Hagelstein, who sought to develop a theoretical explanation of the observations. Following this effort, Mr. Letts began a collaboration with the firm Industrial Heat starting in 2019.

An LRDI project was performed with Mr. Letts to document his LENR research as well as his laboratory and notebooks. Two recorded and transcribed interviews were conducted regarding the course of his research and attendance at conferences and related LENR events. Mr. Letts is author or coauthor of more than 30 LENR-related reports and publications. His lab includes a backyard building for experiments and a garage for sample preparation and related tasks.
